Olana, home of 19th century landscape painter Frederic Edwin Church (1826–1900) in Hudson, is hosting Frederic Church: Global Artist bicentennial show which will remain on view through October 25. The exhibition is accompanied by a new publication from Yale University Press in association with The Olana Partnership, also titled Frederic Church: Global Artist, co-edited by Barringer, Kornhauser, and Raab.
Frederic Church: Global Artist examines the artist in his own time and demonstrates his continuing relevance for today’s audiences.
